Ben and Carrie never intended to own an energy drink business. That wasn’t part of the plan. But in 2012, when they heard the doors were closing on UPTIME, they couldn’t let it go.
Ben discovered UPTIME at a point when many begin their caffeinated journey — in college. Fast forward twenty-five years as a loyal UPTIMER, and he knew there wasn’t anything else out there. Ben had become committed to a different kind of energy — one that stayed with him through the day and fueled his entrepreneurial journey from day one. He couldn’t leave it to chance and Carrie agreed. So they bought the company.
For Carrie, it was the focus, clarity and the better-for-you ingredients. From her time in the fashion industry to the years she spent at home with her young children, she had also come to rely on UPTIME and knew others like her, would too. When Carrie officially joined the company, she channeled her background in design to relaunch UPTIME into a new, modern and minimal look that reflected what she had come to love about the product.
Ben rebuilt the business from the inside. Carrie took care of the outside. What people saw on shelf, finally did UPTIME justice.
Today, Ben and Carrie stand united in their shared belief that UPTIME is the future of energy drinks. It is an undeniable upgrade that that helps keep you active, focused & sharp. That’s why they are proud to continue the UPTIME story and share it with others.
Our goal is to redefine energy and stand out against the loud crowd of cans with something better- fewer ingredients, modern design & a refreshing taste.
